Complex Markets Require Professional Solutions
At Tioga Capital Management, LLC in Summit, NJ, we always act with the highest degree of integrity as we invest with both safety and performance as central tenets of our methodology.
We understand that choosing a new addition to your portfolio may be a complicated and confusing task. Our goal is to provide you with a better alternative that is complex by design yet simple in its execution.
We believe that our fund can serve as the cornerstone of any investment structure by acting as your pillar of performance and safety.
Why Choose Us
Our model is structured around a carefully constructed, rules-based, disciplined strategy that removes guesswork and emotion from the trading process. This approach keeps us positioned to always be locking in gains or mitigating losses in every market cycle.
We are committed to investing your money as if it was our own because it is; we invest 100% of our own liquid assets in the fund, both in our individual retirement accounts (IRA) and regular taxable accounts. Aside from IRAs and personal accounts, our business can also accommodate institutional type investments from your 401(k) plan, pension plan, or working capital your company may invest on a proprietary basis.
About the Manager
John Hanna
Leveraging more than a quarter century of industry experience, John used the last 7 years to develop, test, enhance, and invest using the value-based trading model that is the basis of the Arcadia Enhanced Index Fund.
In his previous job as the Operations Manager of the Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Bond Strategies (TABS) group he automated systems, wrote official policies and procedures, and oversaw the multifaceted operations of an investment strategy that grew from approximately $6 billion to more than $37 billion in assets under management during his 11-year tenure.
John's oversight of all aspects of the team's operations helped to ensure that this rapid growth would not affect the team's efficiency.
John graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1994.
Charitable Acts
John's philanthropic work includes the creation of the 9/11-based charity, New York City Strikes Back, which raised money for the Robin Hood Relief Fund, Uniformed Firefighters Association, and Widow’s and Children's Fund.
Previous Work Experiences
Prior to Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Bond Strategies Group, John worked at Earnings.com, a FinTech start-up that was acquired by Thomson Financial in October of 2001. At Earnings.com, he directed and developed the revenue-generating component of the company that marketed its web-based communications software to mutual fund managers and the investment research portals Morningstar.com and AdvisorIntelligence.com.
His first job in the industry was at the Neuberger Berman, selling mutual funds. It was there that he first became an enthusiast of the value-based approach to investing.
With the creation of the Arcadia Enhanced Index Fund and the Tioga Capital Management, LLC, John has combined his automation capabilities and knowledge of the fund industry with his passion for value investing to create a new, unique investment approach for those who seek to outperform the market.
